Your recovery phrase and private key are encrypted and stored on your device.
ELARVON WALLET
Privacy,
clearly stated.
This policy explains how the ELARVON Wallet browser extension and web wallet handle information when you create, import and use a self-custody ELVN wallet.
Only the information needed to show the wallet and broadcast transactions is sent to our API.
We do not sell wallet data or use it for advertising, profiling, lending or credit decisions.
1. Scope and wallet model
ELARVON Wallet is a self-custody wallet. The software lets you create or import an ELARVON wallet, view its public blockchain activity, receive ELVN, and sign and broadcast ELVN transactions.
ELARVON does not have custody of your recovery phrase or private key and cannot recover them for you. Anyone who obtains your recovery phrase can control the associated funds.
2. Information handled on your device
The wallet handles the following information locally:
- Your ELARVON recovery phrase and the private key derived from it.
- The PIN you choose to lock and unlock the wallet.
- Your public ELARVON wallet address and wallet preferences, including language.
The recovery phrase is encrypted on your device using AES-GCM. The encryption key is derived from your PIN using PBKDF2 with SHA-256. Your PIN, recovery phrase and private key are not intentionally transmitted to ELARVON servers.
3. Information sent to ELARVON services
To provide wallet functionality, the extension communicates over HTTPS with elarvonexplorer.com. It may transmit:
- Your public wallet address, to retrieve confirmed balances, unspent outputs and transaction history.
- A transaction that has already been signed locally, when you choose to broadcast it to the ELARVON network.
- Normal web-request information, such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser user agent and technical error information.
Wallet balances, confirmations and transaction history are public blockchain information. Live reference prices may be obtained through ELARVON-operated price services. The wallet does not send your recovery phrase or private key with price requests.
4. How information is used
Information is used only to operate and secure the wallet and explorer, including:
- Displaying your public balance, transactions and confirmations.
- Selecting spendable outputs and preparing transactions.
- Broadcasting a transaction after you review and approve it.
- Providing ELVN reference values in supported currencies.
- Preventing abuse, diagnosing failures and protecting service availability.
We do not sell personal information or wallet data. We do not use it for interest-based advertising, unrelated profiling, lending or creditworthiness decisions.
5. Sharing and service providers
Public addresses and signed transactions are processed by ELARVON explorer and node infrastructure to provide the requested blockchain functions. A broadcast transaction becomes part of the public peer-to-peer network and, if confirmed, the public blockchain.
Infrastructure providers may process limited technical information when providing hosting, network delivery, security or operational support. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to protect users, the service or the public.
6. Retention and deletion
Your encrypted wallet vault remains in the extension or browser storage until you use the wallet's erase function, clear the relevant browser data or uninstall the extension. Locking the wallet does not delete the encrypted vault.
Standard server access and security logs are retained according to operational log rotation and legitimate security needs. Confirmed blockchain transactions cannot be deleted by ELARVON because the blockchain is designed to be persistent and public.
7. Security
Wallet data sent to ELARVON services is transmitted over HTTPS. Transactions are signed locally before broadcast. No system can guarantee absolute security, so you should protect your device, choose a strong PIN and keep an offline backup of your recovery phrase.
8. Your choices
- You can use the erase function to remove the encrypted wallet vault from the current browser profile.
- You can uninstall the extension or clear its site data.
- You can stop network requests by locking or discontinuing use of the wallet.
Deleting local data does not remove confirmed transactions or addresses from the public ELARVON blockchain.
9. Children
ELARVON Wallet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the wallet.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when wallet functionality or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
For privacy questions, use the verified publisher contact email displayed on the ELARVON Wallet listing in the Chrome Web Store.
